Understanding Fair Housing Basics – Two hours.

This experiential session focuses on the principles of Federal Fair Housing Law for multifamily professionals. Historical perspectives and civil rights issues are explored, providing a thorough understanding of disability compliance, protected classes, and a sharper grasp on avoiding fair housing complaints. A distinctive learning environment is created in which the attendee participates in problem solving techniques that shift perspective and increase fair housing knowledge and compliance.

Sexual Harassment Prevention Basics - Two Hours

This informative Sexual Harassment Prevention training session meets the requirements of California Government Code 12950.1 for supervisory employees. Non-supervisory training is provided for the employee who is not in a supervisory position. The session includes:

  • Knowledge Assessment
  • Multifamily harassment scenarios
  • Discussion of federal and state law requirements
  • Information on what is prohibited
  • Discussion of remedies
  • Guidance on preventing sexual harassment from occurring in the workplace
  • Supervisory requirements to report sexual harassment
